Nashville Flood: State Of The Internet Infrastructure
The Nashville Technology Council has e-mailed members in the community about the state of the city’s Internet infrastructure, which has been considerably taxed since the historic flooding occurred.
I don’t have to tell anyone how important the connectivity has been in getting everyone organized and on the same page when it comes to relief efforts. Check out the information below so you can plan accordingly if your network is down.
“As of 4:00 PM Tuesday, the following updates have been communicated to the Nashville Technology Council from its members in support of Nashville’s Infrastructure:
- AT&T – Corporate Building Downtown on Generator Power – Network outages for some telephone customers affected
- Comcast - Comcast Business Systems Operational, Some cable customer areas maybe affected by flood waters.
- Dolphini - All Systems Operational – Providing Emergency Relief Program for businesses affected
- iNetStrategy - All Systems Operational
- Peak10 - All Systems Operational – Providing Emergency Relief Program for businesses affecte
- Level 3 – All Systems Operational
- Nexus Group – All Systems Operational – Providing Emergency Relief Program for businesses affected
- Sprint is reporting some cell issues from Nashville to Jackson. Most towers in Nashville operational.
- Sungard - All Systems Operational
- TwTelecom – All Systems Operational – Providing Emergency Relief Program for businesses affected
- Verizon Wireless deployed mobile communication stores in Nashville to support residents affected by recent floods. Some cell service may be interrupted due to power loss on towers.
- Windstream – All Systems Operational – Providing Emergency Relief Program for businesses affected
- XO – All Systems Operational
- Nashville WIFI is down until Thursday. The building hosting our repeater lost power. Will advise asap.

We appreciate your support.Nashville still has much healing to do, we’re excited that we will have raised $37,500 for flood relief when all of the cases and posters have sold.
All philippine ISPs shoud interconnect and more Filipinos should patronize local content hosted on Philippine servers with less reliance on outgoing traffic . That;s the fastest way to speed up the local internet in my book. I think Yahoo got it wrong, the number one online activity of Filipinos today is using Facebook. Facebook is the #1 site in terms of traffic and time spent online.

I wonder if these cases are plastic or metal. The original ones are nice to touch and resistant. 50 dollars aren't much for a new phone case, and it would be nice if you can manufacture other smart phone case types.
It's super cool your campaign. One of three smartphones is IPhone, 50 dollars aren't much, so the chances selling all those cases are pretty big. It would be nice to produce even for the other smartphones this type of cases. I don't know your policies, but I would like to pay something for Music City Rising another smartphone case.
